Tips and Tricks, Navigating Day to Day Life
Time to Evaluate your year
We can have anything we want in our lives. Evaluate the year. See what you want to change and make it happen.
Courage, fear and trusting your gut.
It wasn’t fear that made me want to change my career it was my gut telling me I wasn’t doing the right thing.
Anxiety
When I am true to myself, take care of myself and love myself, the anxiety lessens. How do I find my way through the fears?
Boundaries
I didn’t have many boundaries, at first. Now I do. They are honor me and how I want to live and how I want my relationships to look.
Our Stories
Changing what you believe, changes the story. And changing your story can change the way you see and live your life.
File of Fabulousness
When I am feeling low I open my file and remind myself that I am fabulous most of the time even if I don’t feel it right then.
Time Management
Time management is hard when starting something new. I thought I knew how I was spending my time, I just needed to see what was really true.
Decisions
Unmade decisions clutter your mind. The thought is just hanging in the background waiting to be decided and shelved.
Open your mind to creativity
In today’s society, down time is a novelty instead of the norm. Our brain needs time to relax, time to wander, time to create.
Surviving the Dog Days of Summer
Half way through the year. Time to evaluate the year so I can re-group and finish strong. I like to start by looking at my year’s goals.
Add new activities to your life
Your life is a series of habits. Are these habits the ones you want in your life? Are they furthering you mission?
Upper limits
Our brain goes on alert if it isn’t used to a feeling. Feeling good takes practice.
Acclimating
This is the time for summer vacations. They can be stressful for everyone because of the change in routines.
Curiosity
When we come to a situation thinking we know it all, we will miss all the things we don’t know, unless we are curious.
Curiosity: Think out of the box
Instead of thinking: That won’t work, start by thinking: How can I make this work? The main thing you will need is curiosity
Curiosity: Get past your fears
Living in curiosity is something we lose as we age and live in society. How do you want to live your life? In fear or curiosity?
Curiosity: Trial and error
Keeping a beginner’s mindset, being curious why it isn’t working and being open to change has reminded me of all I can accomplish.
Curiosity: Open to learning
What is the purpose of life? That is the question I have often pondered. I feel one purpose is to continue learning. To do that you have to be open to learning. Be curious about everything. Once we start to think we know everything, learning stops. I try to find...
Curiosity: Seek out curious people
There are many ways we limit ourselves by not being curious. Having curious people around me helps me work through issues and come up with new solutions.
Curiosity: Why
To find a new career, start with gathering information and seeing what is really true. It is important to stay curious
